Mirage

This is a concept-painting made on request by a young mirage 2000 fighter pilot, who had seen my helicopter painting in Dec 2016. I added the pilot and the wet tarmac to make it more lively. Safe flying and happy landings to all aviators! water colors on 300gsm cold pressed paper 10 x 7.5 inch

On controls!

For me close formation is the most thrilling and challenging flights. It needs skill and most importantly utmost faith, confidence and trust on your leader/wingman. This is a formation flight during the inauguration of Aeroindia 2017 on 14 Feb, in which i was on controls as No.2 in the LCH formation, part of a 13 helicopter HAL helicopter formation. Sunrise Woods

It was an interesting subject with the sun peeking though the trees and the juggling of orange and greys. water colour on handmade paper 22 x 15 "

Mahabalipuram Beach

The shore temple at Mahabalipuram is a visual treat be it morning or evening. I painted this because the evening scene is challenging, and i had to paint the shore temple without highlighting it, yet make it prominent and then keep the focus on the beach and fishermen... Hope i have succeeded. water colour on handmade paper 400gsm 22 x 15"

Vidhana Soudha

This is the government legislature building, which is a majestic, beautiful and must see place in Bangalore.  The sketching for the painting was done on location last weekend and then the painting done indoors for the reference picture taken during sketching. Inspired by the plein air painting by Bijay Biswaal at the same location. Water colour on handmade 300gsm paper 14 x 10 " #watercolour #Vidhanasoudha #artbymra
