Dream Pond!

Painting made from a reference TV grab.  I liked the cool colours and the contrasting green and pink! Learnt how to do minimalistic painting and yet achieve desired effects with water colours.  I didn't have the pink colour and hence bought a bottle of pink poster colour to achieve the correct colour.  Water colour on Canson paper 11 X 8 inch.

Transplanting Time!

It is fascinating to see the transplanting of the paddy and  I remember my childhood days that were spent in the fields on vacation.  painted from a reference photograph.  Watercolour on Canson paper 11 X 8 inch.

Insights into water colours!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!

Here are a few paintings i did during the water color workshop by Ramesh Jhawar, hosted by Shiny colors in Bangalore

It was fun learning some insights to painting techniques and composition.  Thoroughly enjoyed myself along with a bunch of other art enthusiasts!

I never knew that i could produce these effects for twilight and night scenes in water colours!  watercolour on A3 paper

This was the final painting at the venue, 6 X9 inch watercolour on Bockingford paper
