NY nite out

A recent photograph of NY during Irene in newspaper caught my attention...dry pastels on black paper  16X11 inch

Singer!

After a long time I tried out soft pastels! the picture i saw of this teen age sensation made me sit up and try out the soft pastels...had some problems with the colours vanishing (a bit) when the fixative was sprayed...but the experience was enjoyable!
