Let's Take a Break
Bullock carts like this was a common sight in India, though now the tyres have replaced the wooden wheels. It used to be fun taking a ride on them as they navigate through the country side. Breaks like this to give rest to the bullocks was a common sight. Watercolour on handmade paper 21.5 x 15 inch. #watercolour #watercolor #aquarelle #bullockcart #artbymra #landscape

Boat and Cliffs
This is a simple scenery with cliffs in the background and blue-green reflections. A combination of two reference pics. I am still trying to perfect the art of painting waves, still a long way to go! :-) Watercolour on 300gsm Campap paper 12 x 9 inch. #watercolour #watercolor #aquarelle #artbymra #seascape #boat #cliffs
Serene Ganges
There is a certain calmness that descends on early morning scenes in the ganges. I have tried to capture that serene surrounding through this painting. i find these water scenes one of the most difficult to paint in watercolours. From a reference photograph on the internet. Watercolours on 300 gsm paper 12 x 9 inch. #watercolour #watercolor #aquarelle #ganges #artbymra

Rain Tree Boulevard
These beautiful shady trees line up many roads in Bangalore and are a welcome signature-scene! They are in their full bloom now and the pink flower wither away only to give a beautiful brownish ochre tinge to the tree branches and the roadsides.
