Hanuman Dhoka-Durbar square

I was in awe seeing the architectural beauty of Nepal.  This is a glimpse from one of the many Durbar squares at Kathmandu valley..this one is near Hanuman Dhoka.  Still a long way to go before i get the balance between light and shade perfectly.  Watercolour on Brustro 300gsm 16X12 inch.

This is such a good composition with the street slanting across the piece and the lines of the buildings and horizon. I really admire your precision and detail, most especially how you balance that with artistry and creativity. I am inspired when I come to your blog!

I don't know whether you know one temple in Kerala in a place called "Vaikam". It is from this place the agitation by EV Ramaswamy Nayakar started long time ago in his effort to bring equal treatment for non-bramins. This temple bring me memory of the temple at Vaikam. No dount an excellent piece. Great I enjoyed.
