green ride

a bullock cart ride through the green foliage, very common in villages in India.  Was always fascinated with the bullock cart and enjoyed it when we used to visit my native village. Tried my hand at depicting the shadows and the light! Water colour on paper 30X22 inch.

Nicely done with the thickness of the bushes and the depth of the scene. The uneven road is really felt with the 2 bullocks not on the same plane.. quite a common road we have all experienced!

You have been busy Sparrowhawk! I like all of the paintings very much. I particularly like the Liliac Roller and it's also very nice to be able to see what the landscape is like where you live. It looks very beautiful :0)
