It's been a long time since I visited any art gallery, and the chance to do plein air at National Gallery of Modern Art at Bangalore was a great opportunity. The fountain area with the main building to the right was a perfect scene...tried out all the techniques in watercolours! the art gallery was also fun with most of the Indian masters on display! watercolours on 16" x 12", 300gsm paper.

@indiranagar defense colony park
this lush green park in the midst of urban Bangalore looks like a deciduous forest! its a treat to paint there.
water colours to me is 'controlled aggression', but here it is more of aggression and less of control! had to redo and overlay and blotch up a few areas....but as always it was fun! water colour on 300gsm A3 size

@Sheshadri Iyer Memorial Hall
with sun finally shining at Bangalore, i headed for this beautiful library in Cubbon park along with Pencil Jammers...it has always been a great challenge to paint these architectural beauties....and this time was no exception! Got a few tips from Prabal and had a great time......still a lot to learn! 16 X 12 inch, water colours on 300 gsm
