the myriad of colours and reflection that throws up when paddy is transplanted is something to remember forever! mostly in India this is done by women.. the water logged fields and the young green paddy saplings and lastly the unspoken race to the finish line..... 30 X 22 inch water colour on paper!
Oh! Oh! I absolutely LOVE this! I wish I could have painted it! I wish I could have been there to see this scene... It's wonderful.

ReplyDeleteTo bring out life in paddy fields - very difficult but you have done it with ease. The posture of harvesting women is as it is difficult to bring out and naturally this is what I liked most. It is very difficult I know to get the correct posture.
